I have taken a look at your Inquiry Questions.
Here are some examples of what I've seen:

• Do M&M's dissolve faster in water or soda?
• What will an m&m do when exposed to different media?
• What would happen if you tried to dissolve an m&m in alcohol?
• How long does it take the M to come off of all the different colors different colors?
• How long will it take for the color layer to dissolve in water, paint thinner, olive oil and salty water.
• Will an m&m dissolve faster in soda or olive oil?
• How long will it take for a m&m to dissolve in water, poweraid,and gatoraid in a 4 (minute?) test?
• Will the color melt off the M&M faster in water over 90 degrees or In ice water?

My Comments/Questions:

1. Can you find the Independent and Dependent(measured) variable in your question? If not you need to rework your question.
2. You are going to want to run multiple trials and average you data.
3. How are you going to collect an record your data? Data tables, observation, etc
4. How will you represent your findings?
